Mustafa Centre is seeking an experienced, motivated Development Lead to join our leadership team. This role will play a central part in growing the organization, securing investor support, and strengthening external partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead fundraising strategy: develop and implement a multi-channel fundraising plan targeting investors, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
Investor outreach and stewardship: identify prospective investors, prepare compelling pitches and materials, coordinate meetings, and manage ongoing relationships and reporting.
Partnership development: build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate partners, community organizations, and service providers to expand program reach and resources.
Grant and proposal writing: research funding opportunities and draft persuasive proposals, budgets, and impact summaries.
Team leadership: recruit, mentor, and coordinate volunteer fundraisers and communications support; establish processes and metrics for tracking progress.
Communications support: collaborate with marketing to create investor-facing collateral, impact stories, and presentation decks.
Strategic planning: contribute to organizational strategy sessions and advise on sustainable funding models and revenue diversification.
Desired Experience And Skills
Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, or business development (startup, nonprofit, or corporate experience welcomed).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to investors and partners.
Strategic thinker with practical project management and leadership abilities.
Experience with grant writing, proposal development, or investor pitch preparation.
